My Background

Having been in the hospitality industry for years, I have always enjoyed the idea of helping people. Upon leaving that path I realized I wanted to help on a deeper level.

 

With the encouragement and support of my husband Josh, I was motivated to try something new that would help me protect and strengthen my physical body for life and most importantly make me happy. And so I went headfirst into the light of Pilates.

 

The benefits and body awareness that I have learned through Pilates, have naturally meshed themselves into my daily repertoire. This comforts me and I find myself exuding a special confidence from within that encourages me to move forward in life with ease. I am deeply grateful and feel fortunate to have discovered a genuine passion for Pilates. It truly motivates me to introduce this amazing method of movement to so many others.

My Approach

In group classes or private sessions, the focus is always brought back to dynamic stability in all levels of difficulty or for any variation of a classic move I have up my sleeve. I am determined to bring attention to the lengthening of muscles which I feel, achieves a much safer workout vs the tightening effect so widely sought after in the world of fitness.
 
​I feel most proud when my clients share their "aha moments" of realization that they are moving safely and with more ease through daily tasks and generally just feeling great.
